Smaller businesses tend to have a more personal customer service.  The Yorkshire Cabs app is made up of small taxi companies and independent Hackney licenced businesses networking together and remaining independent. By working together they can create the largest taxi app network for people that want that traditional expertise.

We do this by listing smaller sized companies and comradeships of independent companies (drivers).  A listed town name followed with drivers, is a comradeship of these independents based in that town. Customers choose their preferred company or independent drivers to pick them up.  If  a passenger is in another area, or their drivers are unable to carry out the journey, the passenger can try again and this time tick a box to ask for any driver in the network.

Each company or driver comradeship promote themselves, to ensure their customers books them rather than anybody when using the app.  This personal method also teaches passengers and drivers how to use this to its best.  Drivers will continue taking phone or face to face bookings for advance and more essential journeys.
