First Download the app and set up an account by registering.

Choose your taxis here

Choose where you would like your taxis to come from, for example your town drivers or a taxi business.

press Create Profile

you will now require an email address that you can access on the same phone.

The map will use an address based on your phones GPS.

If its wrong, you can correct on next page.

ADD HOME and WORK locations as your regular journeys to make future bookings quicker and easier.

The PICKUP box ...You can easily alter or delete it by pressing the cross.

Start entering the address in the PICKUP and DROPOFF boxes and your options will appear in the blank area and you choose one buy touching it.

At the bottom you can SET your LOCATION by using a map.

Send Any Driver

If you tick this box, the system will look through all the drivers in all the companies and you may not get one of the drivers from your chosen group or company.   The estimated price may also change.

You are given an estimated price.  The taxi driver must use their taximeter to give you an exact price of the journey.

Different vehicle types may have different prices, scroll up to see them all.

Cash

Ignore this for now as all drivers will except cash or card payment in their vehicles.

Confirm Booking to start asking drivers if they can do your request.

The are different drivers working throughout the whole day.  Being self employed, they work the hours that suits their individual business.  You will notice times when there are fewer cars available because they are busy with advance bookings, or resting for their next shift.   Please keep visiting if no drivers accept your request today.

Please Be Patient

When you see this screen, The Yorkshire Cabs system will now ask the closest drivers on your behalf if they can do your journey.  This asks drivers one at a time so may take up to 5 minutes.

When a driver accepts your journey.  You will have a contract between yourselves.  You can also track your driver in real-time and receive notifications when they arrive at your pickup location.

You now have a contract between this taxi driver and yourself.

If there are no drivers able to do your request,   You wont see this screen and will receive a message saying there are no drivers available. 

The passenger is to check the vehicle is the correct vehicle by checking the car is the correct make and colour, has the correct authority licence plate and correct car registration.  

The passenger should check the driver is the correct driver, and that the driver has the correct licence badge. The driver is the only person in the vehicle,  

If the passenger suspects or finds that any of these are incorrect or not available, the passenger must not enter the vehicle and is to report all findings immediately to the Police. 

Relax and enjoy your journey with driver.  These drivers have met ALL the requirements to be an official taxi or Hackney Carriage driver. If in the unlikely event that you are unhappy with the service of the driver, you must report this to your local Council office.
